Direct Notice to Parents Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

This Direct Notice is provided by SKLFL Enterprises, LLC d/b/a CoreCourseGPA.com ("CoreCourseGPA.com" "we," "our," or "us") pursuant to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and the Federal Trade Commission's implementing regulations.
This Notice explains:

• what information we collect from children under 13;
• why we collect it;
• how we use it;
• who may receive it;
• how long we retain it;
• your rights as a parent or legal guardian; and
• how you may contact us.

Our Educational Purpose
CoreCourseGPA.com provides educational software that assists students and families in monitoring academic progress toward collegiate eligibility requirements. The platform also offers an optional recruiting profile feature that allows eligible students to showcase recruiting information through the companion website, RecruitOurAthletes.com, which is owned and operated by SKLFL Enterprises, LLC.
The platform is designed primarily for high school students; however, this Notice applies whenever information from a child under 13 may be collected, which is expected to be an extremely rare occurrence.

Information We Collect
Depending upon how an account is established, we may collect:

Student Information

• Student name  (optional)
• School name
• Graduation year
• Collegiate approved academic courses (self reported)
• Grades
• Collegiate eligibility planning information
• User-generated notes relating to educational planning

We do not intentionally collect:

• Social Security numbers
• Driver's license numbers
• Passport information
• Government-issued identification numbers
• Biometric identifiers
• Fingerprints
• Facial recognition information
• Voiceprints
• Medical information
• Genetic information

If any such information is inadvertently submitted, it will be removed when discovered.

How Accounts May Be Created
Accounts may be created by:

• a parent or legal guardian;
• an eligible student;
• an authorized school counselor;
• an authorized coach;
• an authorized school administrator;
• another individual authorized by the parent or student.

The account creation process depends upon how an individual school or school district elects to implement CoreCourseGPA.com.

Third-Party Service Providers
CoreCourseGPA.com utilizes carefully selected service providers that assist in operating the platform.

Services Provided:

• Secure web hosting
• Server infrastructure
• Secure data storage

Additional service providers (for example, payment processing or email delivery) may be used as operational needs require. Any such providers are contractually required to safeguard personal information and may use it only to provide services on behalf of CoreCourseGPA.com.

Companion Recruiting Website
CoreCourseGPA.com includes an optional recruiting profile feature. When a student (or, where applicable, a parent or authorized school representative) elects to create a recruiting profile, designated recruiting information may be displayed on RecruitOurAthletes.com, a companion website owned and operated by SKLFL Enterprises, LLC d/b/a CoreCourseGPA.com.
RecruitOurAthletes.com is not an unrelated third-party service. It is operated by the same organization as CoreCourseGPA.com and is intended solely to assist student-athletes in presenting recruiting information to college coaches and recruiting personnel.
Only information designated for recruiting purposes is displayed on RecruitOurAthletes.com. Academic eligibility calculations, grades used for NCAA eligibility tracking, account administration information, and other non-public educational records maintained within CoreCourseGPA.com are not publicly displayed unless specifically included by the student in the recruiting profile.

We Do Not Sell Student Information
CoreCourseGPA.com:

• does not sell student information;
• does not rent student information;
• does not share student information for targeted advertising;
• does not build advertising profiles;
• does not permit third parties to use student information for marketing purposes.
• does not sell or license recruiting profile information to third parties.

Data Retention
Student information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the educational purpose for which it was collected.
Information is securely deleted or anonymized when:

• the parent requests deletion;
• the account is closed;
• the educational purpose has been fulfilled; or
• retention is no longer required by law.

Your Rights as a Parent
You have the right to:

• review your child's personal information;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of your child's information;
• refuse future collection of your child's personal information;
• withdraw previously provided consent where applicable;
• receive a description of the categories of information collected;
• ask questions regarding our privacy practices.

School Authorization
When schools facilitate access to CoreCourseGPA.com for educational purposes, schools act only within the scope of authority permitted by applicable law.
School participation does not:

• waive a parent's legal rights;
• authorize targeted advertising;
• authorize commercial use of student information;
• require parents to agree to unrelated commercial terms.

Any publication of an optional recruiting profile through RecruitOurAthletes.com is limited to information designated for recruiting purposes and is subject to the permissions and implementation selected by the student, parent, or participating educational institution, as applicable.
Parents retain all rights provided under COPPA and other applicable laws.

Security
CoreCourseGPA.com employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including:

• encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS);
• secure password management;
• access controls;
• secure hosted infrastructure;
• routine software maintenance;
• administrative access restrictions.

While no Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, we maintain reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information collected.

Changes to this Notice
If our information practices change in a material way, we will provide updated notice as required by applicable law before implementing those changes where required.
